Web Services in action!
Dec 6, 02:34 PM by Mark SheldonWe have recently been working on windowquote.co.uk – a new site for visitors to obtain a no obligation quote from several window manufacturers.
With the pricing structure already in place, we were tasked with developing a simple PHP front-end to integrate with the existing system.

Take a look at windowquote.co.uk.
To make the pricing system available to the front-end we developed a C# Web Service. Using NuSOAP, this Web Service could then be consumed by the PHP front-end to provide the necessary pricing information to the user.
This application of Web Services shows how, even in this simple scenario, the power of XML/SOAP makes distributed applications quick and economical to develop.
We are always looking for new distributed computing projects and have much experience in this field. So please get in touch if we can be of any help.

Oct 29, 02:50 PM by Tim HaseldenWe have recently re-designed and re-launched Zena Holloway’s website (zenaholloway.com). Oct 16, 05:08 PM by Mark SheldonDuring our last project for IT Performs we were briefed to develop a report packaging application to combine multiple Web Intelligence reports within Business Objects XI.
Using the Java SDK we developed a Java application which allows Business Objects users to effortlessly combine multiple page reports into a single management pack document. Management packs include a title page and contents page which are created on-the-fly by the application.
Scheduling the application within Business Objects makes the application extremely flexible and easy to manage. Just point the application at the folder you wish to process and the management pack is created automatically.
Features
- Create a management pack in a matter of minutes or schedule the application within Business Objects to create packs automatically.
- Newly created management packs appear in the Business Objects framework, allowing for easy distribution using the available distribution mechanisms.
- Alternatively, use the applications SMTP engine to distribute packs to desired recipients.
- The application is extremely simple to install and configure.
- As the application uses a header report file to create the title and contents page there are no design restraints. The design can even be changed for different management packs.
